Leslie Metcalf, Jr.

Home Forest: Annapolis Forest No. 126
Wife: Susie

I am the second child of 4 to Leslie Metcalf Sr. (retired Methodist minister) and Katherine Metcalf (retired RN) in Baltimore MD. Graduated Woodlawn Senior High. Started working for a plumbing contractor last year of high school until joining USMC and USMCR until 1991 when I was Honorably Discharged. I attended community college on and off. I have been in the plumbing field for over 35 years and currently am the CEO of Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC. I have been hunting since 15 years old and still enjoy it today.

My wife Susie and I have been married for over 30 years and have three daughters, Mallory 27, Lauren 24, and Rebecca 21. We also recently became grandparents to Isaac Locke Hill (Mallory’s son). We have lived in the same house in Baltimore County MD for over 25 years. We are members of Melville Chapel United Methodist Church in Elkridge MD.

I joined the Masonic order in 1999. Worshipful Master in 2006 and 2010 of Waverly Lodge 152 in Elkridge MD. Worshipful Master of Sincerity Lodge 181 in Odenton MD in 2008. Secretary of Waverly in 2007-2009.

Became a member of Valley of Baltimore Scottish Rite 2000. Received KCCH in 2004 and became Commander of Council of Kadosh in 2005. I served on various degree teams until 2013.

My father, brother and I became members of the York Rite in 2007.

In 2008 I was appointed to the Grand Line of Maryland as Grand Standard Bearer. Appointed as a Grand Inspector in 2008-2009.

In 2008 I became a member of Boumi Temple and Knights of Mecca.

In 2008 I became a member of The York Rite College #58 in Maryland.

In 2008 I also joined Annapolis #126 Tall Cedars of Lebanon becoming GTC in 2012.

In 2013 I was appointed as Supreme Preceptor by PSTC Richard Feeser and am still serving in that capacity at the present time.

In 2014 I was appointed as District Deputy for district 14 by PSTC Barry Scheaffer and am still serving in that capacity at the present time.

I am also the current president of the OPO for District 14 since 2014.

After joining the Tall Cedars and seeing what we do in the support of M.D.A.  I have committed myself to learning more about this horrible disease. I believe we can grow stronger through our educating of Master Masons and growing the Forests. I hope for change in the positive and would like to be part of the “Rebirth and Renewed growth of Tall Cedars”. Educating existing and new members is what every Tall Cedar should strive for. I would like the opportunity to serve the Tall Cedars by becoming your Junior Deputy Supreme Tall Cedar.
