Past Grand Tall Cedar Roberto M. Sanchez is a very active Freemason. He belongs to over
30 Masonic Lodges in several jurisdictions around the world and has served as Worshipful
Master of several of them. He served as the Grand Chancellor of the Most Worshipful Grand
Lodge Edo de Mexico, where he also holds the title and distinction as a Past Grand Master.
He received the Sidonian degree in Adoniram Forest No. 209 Tall Cedars of Lebanon
and was the Charter Grand Tall Cedar of Mexico Forest No. 221 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
Roberto Charter member of El Salvador Forest No. 222, Impeesa Forest No. 223 in Brazil,
and Albion Forest No. 225 in England. His service to the Supreme Forest of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon International includes; Chairman of Fraternal Relations, Chairman of the Expansion Committee, Public Relations Committee, Supreme Historian, and Supreme Director, Region 10. At the 2023 annual convention, he was presented with the 2022 Broughton Award, the Grand Cross, and the highest award the Supreme Forest of Tall Cedars of Lebanon International can bestow.
Sidonian Roberto has served in several positions of leadership in Freemasonry. He recently served as International President for High Twelve International. In addition to being a Past Grand Master of the Gran Lodge Edo Mexico, Roberto has also served as Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Hawaii, Grand Master of the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of Hawaii, and Grand Commander of Knights Templar of Hawaii. He has also served as the Sovereign Grand Commander for the French Rite in Mexico, Grand Commander of the Adonhiramite Rite for North America,
Grand Commander of the Brazilian Rite for North America, Supreme Grand Master of the Royal Society of Knights Occidental, Grand Bung of the Order of Corks, Grand Master and Supernal Imperator for the Order of the Gordian Knot for Latin America.
For his dedication to the Craft, Roberto has been invited to several honorary and invitational bodies and has served in several state, national and international Grand Lines. Roberto has given lectures on Masonry all over the United States,
Latin America, Canada and Europe. Because of his love for history and Masonic research, Roberto joined Texas Lodge of Research, where he has submitted various papers and therefore was elected as a full member and served as Junior Warden. He is also the original Curator, Historian and Librarian for the Houston Masonic Library Museum as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is the author of The True Masonic Experience, as well as A Guide to the Ceremonial, and several other books.
