Jerry O. Richards Sr Senior Deputy Supreme Tall Cedar

Home Forest: Penn No 21

Residence: Glenolden, PA

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since I was elected as Junior Deputy
Supreme Tall Cedar. In that time, I enjoyed traveling to many forests throughout
the kingdom, seeing some old friends and making new ones along the way. Along
with my aide, Andrew Santilli and my wife, Jean, we have traveled over 2,200 miles
so far this year and we have so many more places to visit.

Breaking from tradition, I decided not to go with a polo shirt for my term, but
instead with a Hawaiian shirt with the Tall Cedars logo, which I hope will be used
as a tool to promote new membership in your forest. I’d like to thank the members
who have already purchased the shirt and also for their continued support. I will
have shirts available at the convention and also when I make visits throughout the year. You can contact me before then if you want to start promoting now!

My pins for my term say ‘Do Something Different Today’ and they show the Tall
Cedars tree in between two Masonic logos. If you know a mason who wants or needs some fun, frolic and fellowship in their life, invite him to a meeting and show him what we are about. Encourage him to ‘Do Something Different Today’!

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as Junior Deputy Supreme Tall Cedar and I’m looking forward to continuing my service to the Supreme Forest and its officers by being elected as Senior Deputy Supreme Tall Cedar where I can continue to help wherever I can.

Once again, thank you for putting your trust in me and I look forward to working with you in the near future.
